Panasonic revealed their new 4K OLED TVs. The FZ950 and FZ800 sets meet the professional requirements of a film colorist. It is expected to release to consumers in spring 2018.
Acer has upgraded its Swift 7 Ultrabook with the Acer Swift 7 (2018). It is now the world’s thinnest laptop and has 4G LTE connectivity, making it much easier to work while you travel. It will be available for consumers in March 2018.
Sony launched their new Xperia phones with fingerprint technology. They have the Xperia L2, Xperia XA2, and Xperia XA2 Ultra.
Thyssenkrupp are testing magnetic powered elevators to replace elevators run by cables and pulleys. These elevators are expected to cost more but allow buildings to save floor space by putting their elevator on the outside of buildings. They are also able to move sideways.
Nissan are testing a new “brain-to-vehicle” technology. The driver wears a skull cap that measures brain-wave activity making the car stop, steer, or accelerate before you do it yourself.
